Synthesis Release 8.0 Is Coming – LPGAS Plus More
One of the reasons I’m very proud of being at Entessa is the philosophy of continuous expansion and improvement that we live by everyday. Over the years we have added capabilities that touched lots of business area and operational model in the O&G industry, from refined product, crude, fungible and batch pipelines, independent terminals, docks and vessels, pipeline scheduling, common stream systems, etc…, but as Ahmet mentioned a few weeks back, LPG-we’re coming at you.
There are a lot of differences between handling refined product and liquid gas in the logistics business, for example, a product or grade will have to break down into components. Synthesis Release 8.0 now added the capabilities to:
- Input component analysis (or import through our API) and averaging multiple analyses
- Capture the components on a meter ticket in a fine-grained level
- Manage inventory at the component level for LPG systems
- Generate charges when a ticket contains components that are off from specifications
- … and other features that are added to manage this line of business
Plus More… that means other than LPG, we have also included more in this release. Major enhancements have been done to our Rack Allocation and Rack Authorization capabilities. Terminal operators will be able to specify the sequence of the suppliers that are authorized to load at a terminal.
What’s more? Taken the feedbacks from our customers and based on the philosophy of our company, we are taking the Pipeline Daily Scheduling to the next level in R8.0 to provide a more robust scheduling engine in Synthesis on top of the interactive UI we have already introduced in previous releases.
Can you take more? Of course we are offering a bit more API in each release like we mentioned at the User Conference. Plus some more minor enhancements we have collected from our customer community. If you are interested to know more about all these new capabilities, feel free to ask your account team, our sales team or contact me directly.
Synthesis Release 8.0 – Coming This November.
